Jon Bartels is one of several graduating seniors to complete a music video for his final project. But unlike his predecessors, Jon is the first to share the roles of director and client. Jon plays bass for Party After Paradise, the Mankato-based rock band responsible for “Higher.”
Jon’s video plays like an homage to the music video tradition—the band members work together to escape imprisonment and perform at a local venue. The journey is fun and energetic, a perfect fit for the song.
